Emilio-SoresiI am currently working as a Test Manager at OpusCapita Finland, a finance processes automation company dealing among other things with invoice automation, payment management, digital signature services, robotic process automation.

I work in the Document and Transaction Processing business unit and as a Test Manager I am responsible for defining the test strategy, planning and coordinating the test effort, reporting on test progress, improving the test process, especially by exploring test automation possibilities. I also participate in requirements analysis and system testing, and I coordinate user and customer acceptance testing.

I have been in the software testing and quality assurance business for more than 10 years in different roles such as localization tester, localization manager, QA lead, data analyst, test specialist, functional tester, change coordinator. I have been involved in sequential and iterative software development processes, and my areas of expertise are among others functional testing, localization testing, requirements management.

I also have a second job as freelance translator and interpreter, therefore I am pretty much familiar with translation and localization issues also within software development. My localization experience dates back to my first job as a localization tester (later promoted to localization manager) in a video game company called Digital Chocolate. At the beginning I was in charge of testing the Italian version of our games: checking the content and looking for any sort of localization problems. Then stepping up as a localization manager, I was charged with coordinating and improving the localization process in collaboration with internal and external development studios, our internal marketing department and external localization vendors.
