Studied at University of Latvia and holds Master of Business Administration degree. Started his professional career in IT by working as a junior mobile app tester, proceeded to develop more technical skills and knowledge in backend web based applications and web API, web UI test automation. Self-taught programming skills allowed to develop furthermore and get involved in in-house test automation tool product backend and frontend development. This helped to improve coding expertise in various programming languages such as Perl, Java and Golang, additionally growing frontend developer skills by creating a modular client side application that communicates to backend micro-service based API system.
For additional in depth knowledge and theoretical education in quality assurance has attended ISTQB courses and passed a certification exam for ISTQB Advanced Level Technical Test Analyst.
In Quality Assurance field holds proficiency in preparing project scoped test strategies and consulting in quality assurance best practices for various technical subjects. Has experience in working as a team lead and QA manager. Web UI, RESTful API services automation and load test specialist. Deep understanding in mobile app testing and QA practices. Added interest in vast load testing scenarios and various system component latency measures.
